On the thin sandbar that is Galveston Island there can be seen several pyramids rising up out of the palm trees. This tourist hotspot of Galveston has it all from the Rainforest Pyramid to the Discovery Pyramid where there are many things that will amaze the entire family. Moody Gardens offers not only one of the best Aquariums in the state, but also has a 3D IMAX, Ridefilm Theater, and a 4d Theater that will excite all your senses. If you want to take to the water you can do so on the Colonel Paddlewheel boat for hour excursions during the day or have dinner on the boat at night and afterwards crawl into a luxuries bed at the Moody Gardens Hotel. This is one of the biggest attractions on this fun filled island and one of the best in the State of Texas. By far the best of Moody Gardens is the Aquarium Pyramid which offers amazing views of various sea life and will entertain and educate the family for hours. The second best of Moody Gardens is the Rain Forest Pyramid which hosts free roaming birds and animals as well as some amazing indoor waterfalls and large fish habitats.
